Celine Dion recorded the cover of All By Myself  in 1996 for the Falling into You, and was one of her best hits.  it was released on December 9, 1996, in the United Kingdom and on March 11, 1997, in the United States.

All by Myself, is a song by Eric Carmen, originally released in 1975. The verse is based on the second movement (Adagio sostenuto) of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s circa 1900–1901 Piano Concerto No. 2 in C minor, Opus 18.

The single became one of Dion’s biggest hits in the United States, reaching number one on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks (for three weeks) and the Latin Pop Airplay (two weeks).

Lyrics
When I was young
I never needed anyone
And makin’ love was just for fun
Those days are gone
Livin’ alone
I think of all the friends I’ve known
But when I dial the telephone
Nobody’s home
All by myself
Don’t want to be, all by myself anymore
All by myself
Don’t want to live, all by myself anymore
Hard to be sure
Some times I feel so insecure
And love so distant and obscure
Remains the cure
