Radio Flora TM More music, more variety
“Child in Time” is a song by English rock band Deep Purple. Released from the band’s fourth studio album Deep Purple in Rock (1970). It’s loosely inspired by the Cold War, and runs over 10 minutes.
This features a keyboard/guitar solo by Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore respectively.
This album was released by the Mark II version of the group, which is Ian Gillan (vocals), Ritchie Blackmore (guitar), Roger Glover (Bass), Jon Lord (keyboard), and Ian Paice (drums). “Child In Time” was played during the Deep Purple Mark II reunion tour “Come Hell or Highwater” in 1993. Ritchie Blackmore quit the tour after the European portion – he also ended the original Mark II by quitting because of Ian Gillan’s “lack of work ethic.”
Child In Time a fost o melodie de protest împotriva războiului din Vietnam. Versurile au fost scrise de Ian Gillan. Melodia are un solo de keyboards/chitară cu Jon Lord și Ritchie Blackmore
