DeGraw a adăugat propriul său stil la „Drowning”, pe care Young a fost încântat să-l încorporeze în spectacol. „El a cântat niște note pe care nu le-aș fi ales niciodată, dar pe care le iubesc cu adevărat”, spune Young. “Cred că emoția acestei melodii se evidențiază cu adevărat, în acel moment. Modul in care a cântat’Drowning’ face ca versiunea lui să fie ceva special pe care nu îl vei vedea nicăieri în altă parte.
De curând Young a interpretat „Drowning” la Grand Ole Opry. În timp ce cânta emoțiile l-au copleșit și nu a putut să termine piesa.
