“Heartbreaker” – Song by Led Zeppelin from the album Led Zeppelin II, released on October 22, 1969.

“Heartbreaker” opens the second side of the album and features a guitar riff by Jimmy Page. It also includes a spontaneous unaccompanied solo, using a pull-off technique, which was voted the 16th-greatest guitar solo of all time by Guitar World magazine.

It was credited to all four members of the band, recorded at A&R Recording and Atlantic Studios in New York City during the band’s second concert tour of North America, and engineered by Eddie Kramer.

A crowd favorite, Led Zeppelin sometimes opened live shows with it. Led Zeppelin opened many of their live shows in 1971 and 1972 with “Immigrant Song,” followed by a segue right into this

Heartbreaker este o piesă de pe albumul Led Zeppelin II (prima de pe fața B), lansată ca single la 22 Octombrie 1969.

Acest video este din cel de-al treilea concert la Earls Court Arena din Londra, care a avut loc în seara de 25 Mai 1975. Show-ul a durat 3 ore 45 de minute și 50 de secunde.

În acest video, ca în toate concertele lor, Jimmy Page improvizează solo-ul. De aceea versiunea cunoscută de pe album, nu prea coincide cu versiunile din concert. Solo-ul de pe album a fost înregistrat de Page într-un alt studio, și de aceea sună diferit de restul melodiei. Ultima dată acest cântec a fost cântat live în componența obișnuită, la concertul din Zurich de pe 29 Iunie 1980.

Două cântece au făcut parte din set-ul lor în toate turneele: “Heartbreaker” și “Communication Breakdown”.
