Thomas Rhett grew up on Center Point Road, a street that runs 20 minutes north of Nashville in a suburb called Hendersonville. On this nostalgic track, Rhett takes us back in time to growing up carefree in the small Tennessee town.

The song is a duet with Rhett’s fellow country superstar Kelsea Ballerini. Together the pair trade memories of young love. “Kelsea and I have been good friends for years now,” Rhett said, “and with her growing up similarly in a Tennessee town, I knew she would relate to what we were writing about. She absolutely nailed it.”

Rhett co-wrote “Center Point Road” with Jesse Frasure, Amy Wadge and Cleve Wilson.

Thomas Rhett titled his fourth studio album after this track. Center Point Road shaped many of his life experiences and because the record, for the most part, is nostalgic, he decided to name it after this song.
