“The Storm” is based on Antonio Vivaldi’s 18th century violin concerto “Summer” from The Four Seasons.

Yanni Chrysomallis was born in 1954 in Kalamata, Greece. At the age of 14, he broke the country’s national freestyle swimming record, dreamed of becoming an Olympic champion and did not even remember music. At 18, he left for the United States to study at the University of Minnesota. During this time, he met the university rock band Chameleon and is fond of music. After graduation, he remained a keyboard player in the group and, being a self-taught musician who cannot read and write notes, he developed his own system of rhythm and musical notation, according to which he performed and composed his music flawlessly.
