Keith Duffy of Boyzone is born in Donaghmede, Dublin, Ireland. Their breakthrough hit was their second single and cover version of the classic Osmonds hit, ‘Love Me for a Reason’, which peaked at No.2 on the UK Singles Chart. Duffy joined the UK soap Coronation Street in 2002 playing the role of Peter Barlow’s old Navy mate Ciaran McCarthy.
