“Unforgettable” is the Johnny Mathis tribute to Nat King Cole. Two live versions of this song, here, by Johnny Mathis. This has been released in 1983 in UK on the album Unforgettable – A Musical Tribute to Nat King Cole, by the CBS Records division of Columbia in conjunction with the broadcast of Johnny Mathis’s BBC television concert special of the same name that featured Cole’s daughter Natalie.
“Unforgettable” is a popular song written by Irving Gordon. The song’s original working title was “Undeniable”; however, the music publishing company asked Gordon to change it to “Unforgettable”. The song was published in 1951. Nat King Cole recorded in 1951 from his album “Unforgettable” (1952), with an arrangement written by Nelson Riddle.

Mathis has received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame for three recordings.
