Katy Perry – Never Really Over

“Never Really Over” is a song recorded by American singer Katy Perry, released on May 31, 2019, by Capitol Records. The song was later included on the track list of her sixth studio album, Smile (2020), as the first song on the album. It is an electropop track inspired by Norwegian singer Dagny’s “Love You Like That” (2017). The song received critical acclaim with praise towards the production and hook.

The glowing video, directed by multimedia artist Philippa Price (Banks’ “Gemini Feed”), was shot in Malibu. It drives home the song’s message of self-love as we see Perry taking part in various heart-healing rituals at a retreat resort.

După o pauză de doi ani fără nici o melodie nouă, Kate Perry a lansat Vineri, 31 Mai, 2019 un nou single  “Never Really Over’, cu o schimbare de tonalitate, fiind probabil cel mai bun single al ei de până acum, și în mod sigur o melodie care se va ascultă mult în această vara. Video a fost lansat în același timp pe YouTube.

Este o schimbare în felul în felul cum arată, mult retro, probabil și datorită relației ei cu Orlando Bloom.
